We at BEAD do not look at environmental sustainability as a target or a goal to achieve, but rather as an integral part in the architecture and engineering processes, i.e. it is an input rather than an output. BEAD’s endeavors are not only directed towards reducing any anticipated adverse environmental impacts of the project but also aim at further developing the environmental conditions at and around the site. 

This approach is through broad involvement among our staff. We do not limit our sustainability work to just our specialized environmental staff or consultants. Instead we extend the work and responsibility to all our staff members through training, orientation programs, and activities. Our sustainability professionals are experienced with the international rating systems; LEED, BREEAM, GreenStar as well as the ESTIDAMA initiative of Abu Dhabi. Our specialized sustainability activities including energy modeling, steering the rating process at all stages, continuous review of the projects at all stages, coordinating with all concerned stakeholders, specialists, and so on. Some disciplines such as wind studies can be very specialized and we are happy to advise Clients in cases when we need to employ specialist sub-consultants.

Graphic design is included in our designs, documentations and presentations. Different visualization techniques are used in accordance of project type, its stage and nature. Graphic design solutions vary in a range from a simple block modeling to sophisticated visuals.
