It all started when…

After years of rapid growth in the construction industry across the UAE and other Gulf states, many developers are now seeking greater design value and technical sophistication in their projects. To meet this demand, BEAD Architects & Engineers, formally known as the Bureau of Excellence in Architecture & Design, was established in January 2008.

We are a forward-thinking design firm offering innovative services in Architecture, Interior Design, Town and Urban Planning, as well as Structural and MEP Design. Our founder and Managing Director, Muhannad Sh. Assam, is a prominent designer in the region, combining extensive experience with youthful ambition. Our team reflects this blend, comprising both dynamic, young designers and a seasoned technical and delivery team. True to our name, we aim to deliver the highest standards of contemporary design to our clients.

At BEAD, we believe that successful design is rooted in thorough research and analysis. Central to our approach is our Research Department, which supports our design process with expertise in sustainability, specification writing, and other key functional aspects. This focus on research and quality sets us apart from commercially-oriented firms and aligns us with the standards of respected international design houses.
